The lads have been training hard on the pitch for the upcoming collegiate sevens championship qualifiers this October. This weekend the boys will have a great opportunity to measure where the team is at when they take the field against the Belmont Shore Men's Club 7's and the Mexican National Team 7's squads. The Aztecs look to improve their game and gain from the vast wealth of experience and knowledge of their opposing sides. The two matches will take place in Long Beach and will kickoff around 10am. Practice for the 2011-2012 Fall Season. Mondays 8:00pm-10:00pm Wednesdays 6:00pm-8:00pm and Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm. First practice is Wednesday September 7th All practices will be held on the turf fields by Tony Gwynn Stadium and the Aqua Plex. Bringing cleats or running shoes and try and wear all black training gear. |

The Aztecs will be hosting UC Berkeley this week as the CPL gets under way. The game has been moved from ENS 700 to the Little Q. Kick off will be at 12pm! SDSU has been training hard in the preseason with another trip out to the Navy SEALS base as well as several preseason matches. The Aztecs will be looking to strike an early blow against the reigning National Champions. COME OUT AND SUPPORT YOUR SDSU RUGGERS! KICKOFF 12PM AT THE LITTLE Q!! (right next to qualcomm stadium) |
